Did you know that that 7-Eleven is called 7-Eleven because those are the original hours of the store (7am til 11pm). According to Mashed.com, after it's debut as Southland Ice Company in 1927 and then Tote'm Stores, 7-Eleven became the largest convivence store chain in the world with 83,000 stores in 19 countries.
