We live in the era of reboots. Think of pretty much any 80s or 90s television show or movie, and there's either a reboot, sequel, reunion, something. I'm hearing about a Who's The Boss reboot that will feature Tony Danza and Alisa Milano return to their characters.
And already in motion is reimagining of the show that made FOX one of the major TV networks in the late 80s and early 90s, Married With Children! The core original cast will return...Ed O'Neill as Al Bundy, Katey Sagal as Peg, Christina Applegate is Kelly Bundy, and David Faustino as Bud. HOWEVER...this show will be a CARTOON!
Alex Carter, one of the writers on Family Guy, has been tapped to be the showrunner. Seems weird...we'll see how this goes!
Also, while searching around for info on this story, I ran across this video of an early tape of the show that featured two different kids as Kelly and Bud and it's really weird. Check it out below!
