A few months ago, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland announced the nominees for the class of 2022, and now we've got the inductees!
Yesterday, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon, Eminem, and Dolly Parton will be the inductees. Dolly is an interesting story as when the nominees were first announced, she initially said she would not accept the honor...the HOF turned around and essentially said "sorry...we already sent out the ballads". She's since backtracked and will accept. It seems like she thought this was for just pure rock acts, but the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has all different types of artists and music.
The ceremony will be in November in LA and, like last year, will air later on HBO and stream on HBO Max.
