If you'll allow a personal moment, three years ago today I was at St. Joe's Hospital and I met a kid that would change my entire world. My wife Michaela and I welcomed our baby boy in the world. There is no doubt, the overwhelming emotion I felt at that moment was overwhelming terror...I honestly was unsure if I'd ever become a parent and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Luckily, I would quickly learn a few things. First, nobody knows what they are doing when their first child is born and that's how it's supposed to be. Second, the unwavering love I felt for this little dude hit me like a semi-truck. Third, this little man would quickly become my best friend for whom I would do anything in the world.
Now, three years later, my man is model level cute, smarter than me, and has a kind, caring, and beautiful soul. He's learning things a mile-a-minute, already lived through a global pandemic, a lock-down, and has become an amazing big brother to his now 10-month old little sister Luna. Next fall, he starts 3K, he love dinosaurs, volcanos, Micky mouse in ever form, playing catch and eating popcorn during movie nights with Daddy, love his cousins and his Gaga (Michaela's mom), his Baba (my mom), and Grandpa.
Although he's never allowed to be a radio host (one per family is enough), he loves playing in Daddy's studio and making radio shows and pressing the "colorful" buttons.
He's got the world at his fingertips and I simply cannot wait to see what he does with it as he grows and learns and experience this world.
