Let's not be cliché! Don't tell your partner you're pregnant, don't tell your boss you quit! Today, of course, is April Fools Day and everyone likes a good prank, but we need some new ideas!
About 20 years ago, when I was just getting started in radio, I was working at a station and on April 1st we flipped the schedule upside down, so instead of the morning show being on the air from 6-10 in the morning, they were on from 6-10 in the evening, but they didn't acknowledge it, so they were giving out weather and traffic reports and saying "Good Morning...blah blah blah...".
Bustle.com has come up with "14 Jokes To Tell Your Friends on April Fools' Day That Are Actually Believable". Some of these are super cheesy, but I love #4, "Hide nine items in their room, but tell them you hid 10" (that would drive me NUTTTTTTTTTTTS). And #6 I'm totally doing today, "text them that you need to tell them something, then never respond".
