Time Magazine has officially announced their prestigious people of the year. SpaceX and Tesla CEO (and ultra rich dude) Elon Musk has been named Person of the Year! Edward Felsenthalwrote, Time's editor-in-chief to CNN, "Person of the Year is a marker of influence, and few individuals have had more influence than Musk on life on Earth, and potentially life off Earth too. In 2021, Musk emerged not just as the world's richest person but also as perhaps the richest example of a massive shift in our society."
The biggest artist on the radio in 2021 by far was Olivia Rodrigo and she's been named Artist of the Year. With the pandemic still very much a part of the year, Heroes of the Year went to scientists and doctors behind the Covid-19 vaccine, being called "The Miracle Workers".
