What started as a local sports story quickly became national news. After it was announced last week that Aaron Rodgers had tested positive for COVID-19, questions started swirling around about how truthful he had been with the press, if he was vaccinated, and what his "alternative treatment" was. It was one of the lead stories on the national morning shows, it was on the nightly news, and every corner of the internet starting trending Rodgers.
But when Saturday Night Live dedicates it's 8 minute cold open to jab at Rodgers, you know it's a big deal. Pete Davidson portrayed Rodgers in the sketch that kicked off the Kieran Culkin hosted episode (Ed Sheeran was the musical guest).
