It happened again, I was on YouTube and somehow fell into the vortex and stumbled upon this video. It's a colorized, stabilized video of the streets of Manhattan from 1945...not many recording of this era exist, much less in color.
The video rolls from the point of view of a car driving down the street, you'll notice no traffic lights at most of the intersections (traffic lights were put in on some NYC streets in 1920, but we don't seem to pass any in this video).
