We’ve spent the week mourning the loss of rock legend Eddie Van Halen, but we did loss another music legend, singer and songwriter Johnny Nash. Best known for the hit “I Can See Clearly Now” which has had radio DJs making corny quips about the weather forecast since its release in June of 1972 on the album of the same name. You often hear the version Jimmy Cliff recorded, but Johnny Nash was the original. Nash died on Tuesday of natural causes in his hometown on Houston, Texas. He was 80. I’ve got the iconic song below, great sing-a-long song!
