It's a bird...it's a plane...nope, it's just an Amazon Drone delivering the package of socks and toothpaste you ordered.
Time to look out for Amazon drones flying through the air! Amazon's fleet of delivery drones are ready to go airborne. The FAA said Amazon "Prime Air" is now certified to expand unmanned package delivery. The agency said Amazon now has privileges to "safely and efficiently" deliver packages to customers. That means the company's delivery drones can carry small items beyond the operator's line of sight. Amazon said they will start by delivering packages weighing five pounds or less to customers' doorsteps in outlying areas where standard delivery is more difficult.
