Like most things in our new Covid-19 world, especially events with lots of people, this year's Emmy Awards are going virtual. According to the story from Good Morning America, the Emmy's this year will be live from 140 locations. These 140 locations are the nominees' and presenters' homes!!
According to the story, the show's producer sent cameras to the 140 locations and they welcome whatever attire that particular nominee prefers, from the usual award show gowns and tuxes, to the pajamas and sweats. One producer even said pants for this year's Emmy's are optional!
The "Virtual Emmy's" will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC on Sunday, September 20th.
