A few weeks ago, we talked about the fact that the home used as the facade of one of the most iconic shows of the 80s and 90s, The Golden Girls, had been put on the market for the very first time since it was built in 1955. While the show was based in Miami, the actual home, which was only used for exterior shots (the real show was shot on a Hollywood sound stage), is actually located in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The home, which looks nothing like the "set" of The Golden Girls home, features four bedroom and three and a half bathrooms. It was put on sale by the couple who built it and it ended up selling for more the $1 million over the original asking price of just under $3 million.
Fun fact, the couple selling the home never watched the show!
