As promised, Disney has officially reopened Walt Disney World in Orlando this past weekend. As with everything that's in re-opening mode, Disney promised to be as safe as possible with several protocols in place including the requirement that everyone in the parks, both customers and employees, must wear a mask. Cleaning crews will be all over the place, and temperatures will be taken before entrance into the park.
A notice of their website says:
• Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park are now open! EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen on July 15.
• Additionally, Disney Vacation Club properties at Walt Disney World and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are open to Members and Guests. Disney Springs has already begun to reopen. Upon reopening, theme parks, Disney Resort Hotels, restaurants and other offerings may be modified, limited in capacity and subject to availability or closure.
• We have taken enhanced health and safety measures. Follow all posted instructions while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.
