Judd Apatow, who made some comedic greats like The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This Is 40, and a ton more, has teamed up with Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson for a new film called The King Of Staten Island. Based on the trailer below, the movie seems to be a semi-biographical film about Pete, who lost his father, a firefighter who died on 9/11 in the World Trade Center and has had a pretty public struggle with mental health and drugs.
Below is the trailer and a really funny interview that Judd and David did on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. WARNING: the trailer may not be safe for work or with kiddos around. The movie will skip theaters, since theaters are closed right now, and will go straight to On Demand on June 12th.
