This is so exciting. The ONEDERS are back!
According to The Nerdist, the cast of the cult favorite, and Tom Hanks’ first film as a director, That Thing You Do (you know the song) are reuniting later today for a special cast reunion. The YouTube live stream that happens at 6pm will feature the entire band, including Tom Everett Scott (Guy Patterson), Steve Zahn (Lenny), Johnathon Schaech (Jimmy), Ethan Embry (T.B. Player), and Liv Tyler (Faye).
The stream will benefit MusiCares and will also honor the memory of Adam Schlesinger, the lead singer of Fountains of Wayne and writer of the song "That Thing You Do". Adam died recently due to complications of Covid-19.
