Another story of people and companies stepping in times of need. It was announced last week that Disneyland in LA would be closing to help in the slowing of coronavirus. But what about all the food at the theme park? Disney has announced that they are donating the excess of food during the closure to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
Disney explains to ABC News, “While closely following food safety guidelines, excess inventory of dairy, fruit, vegetables, packaged goods and banquet meals is being donated to Second Harvest, whose mission is to end hunger in Orange County.”
