I love this story! An 11-year-old girl in Florida who is an amputee and STAR WARS fan, received an R2-D2-themed bionic arm. This is such a cool story from The New York Post. Bella Tadlock raised 14-thousand dollars for bionic HERO ARM from Open Bionics. And talk about authentic, Open Bionics actually got permission from Lucasfilm to create this arm. Not only that, she got a phone call from Luke Skywalker…Mark Hamill, to congratulate her on her new Star Wars arm (you might remember that Luke got a bionic arm/hand in the film). How cool is that?
