It was just a few weeks ago that the prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Ozbourne, along with his family, announced the reason he'd cancelled several shows last year. Among the health issues he discussed during an interview with Good Morning America, Ozzy revealed that in 2018, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. At the time of the interview, he said the he still intended to go out on tour to support his newly released album.
This week, unfortunately, that changed. While he still intends on going on the European leg of his tour, he has been forced to cancel the U.S. stops.
According LOUDWIRE, Ozzy said "I'm so thankful that everyone has been patient because I've had a shit year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks. I don't want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it's just not fair to the fans. I'd rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time."
Get well soon Ozzy!
