As we go through the week, more and more tributes to Kobe Bryant are coming in. Yesterday we talked about the moment of silence and touching visual done at Madison Square Garden on Sunday by the New York Knicks. On Monday, Kobe's friends and host of the tonight show told an emotional story about when the two first meet, almost twenty years ago.
Kobe and Jimmy met when they were just 17 and 21 years old respectively. Jimmy had just moved to Los Angeles to do stand up comedy and Kobe had just started playing for the Lakers right out of high school.
