It was announced on Good Morning America that country music star Kasey Musgraves would be performing will country legend Willie Nelson on tonight's Country Music Awards on ABC. I'm not really a country music person, but I'm particularly stoked about this because they are going to perform a song that I love and always brings me back to my childhood. They are performing The Rainbow Connection from the 1979 Muppet Movie.
As Casey posted on Instagram below, this performance will bring her full circle as she performed The Rainbow Connection as a kid (check out the video below). The CMAs are tonight on ABC.
