Happy Birthday Bayside High!

When you wake up in the morning, the alarm gives out a warning and you think you'll never make it on time...if you're a kid of the late 80s or 90s, you know that line! Believe it or not, it was 30 years ago this week that Saved By The Bell premiered on NBC.

E! Online revealed 30 shocking secrets about Saved By The Bell like this one: did you know Mark Paul Gosselaar dated all three of his female co-starts during the run of the show. Here's another one...unlike most actors on sitcoms, the cast of Saved By The Bell don't make money on the re-runs because they all signed really bad deals when they were kids, probably thinking that it's just a short term sitcom that would never last.

This is my favorite one: The show's pilot (and first season) was not called Saved By The Bell, but rather Good Morning, Miss Bliss. The pilot didn't star any of the cast that we know, but did feature some future famous faces, including Brain Austin Green (who wouldn't end up on the actual show but did find fame on Beverly Hills 90210) and Jaleel White, who would later become URKLE! Here's a clip of the pilot, it's so weird to watch!!
