It is actually shocking to hear how much money celebrities and other social media "influencers" get paid to post about products. Some celebs are getting hundreds of thousands of dollars PER POST, some even closer to one million per post.
So, are these companies getting their money's worth when they're paying this kind of cash for celebs to post? According to Market Watch, the answer is yes. 60% of parents say social media has influenced what their kids want for "back to school".
