New Packers offense still has familiar concepts

Even in vanilla mode, the Packers' offense showed a good mix of new strategies while throwing back to some familiar tried-and-true concepts from the previous regime in Green Bay during the Packers' first preseason game.

Dusty Evely looks at several passing plays from Green Bay's win over the Houston Texans, and notes that there are plenty of new things to be excited about, even if all fans saw was a glimpse of what's to come.

While the common refrain about preseason concepts are that teams keep them "vanilla," that doesn't mean we can't still dig in a bit....
