New Packers RB Dexter Williams and the story of his mother

The story of new Packers running back Dexter Williams and his mother is something you have to see: Just days after discussing taking her off of life support during a coma, Williams' mother, Cheryl, woke up, and has continued to be a major presence in her son's life.

Cheryl Williams suffers from an autoimmune condition that affects muscle function, with no known cure. After she woke from her coma, she was diagnosed with a terminal illness affecting her lungs, with only a few years to live. She moved to South Bend to live with Dexter and to be a positive force in his development.

Now, Cheryl will join Dexter in Green Bay, as the newest Packers running back was picked up by Green Bay in the sixth round. Here's the feature piece courtesy of ESPN.
