Continuing the celebration of Women's History Month I'm excited to highlight the 2022 Imprint Award Winners for my Make It Through Monday moment today. The Professional Dimensions Imprint Awards are taking place this Thursday, March 24 and will be honoring Raquel Filmanowicz and Kamilah Williams-Kemp. To "imprint" is to make a lasting mark and both of these women have done just that. The Imprint Awards were created to recognize women who are making a lasting mark in their career, community and collaborations, who are both successful and supportive.
Kamilah Williams-Kemp is the vice president of Risk Products at Northwestern Mutual and is a leader in diversity and inclusion in both her profession and community. She is the first woman and first African American to lead Northwestern Mutual's Risk Products department and a founding member of their African American Employee Resource Group.
Raquel Filmanowicz is the director of the Economic Equity Advisory Group for Commercial Banking at BMO Harris Bank and there she's involved in BMO Empower Fund which is a social impact fund where she worked to create an integrated community giving plan that drives the bank's strategic philanthropic outreach. She was raised by Mexican immigrant parents and became the first member of her family to graduate from college.
