32nd Annual Mentor Awards

Happy National Women's History Month! Today for my Make It Through Monday moment I'm featuring the 32nd Annual Mentor Awards which were originally established in 1990 by TEMPO to recognize individuals and organizations in the community dedicated to the mentoring of others. This year's Mentor Award winners are Alicia Dupies and Jackie Herd Barber. Each embodies what it means to make mentoring personal, and for them it goes beyond affiliation with a specific goal or corporate mission. You can read more about each winner below.

Each year Mentor Award winners are recognized at an annual luncheon and receive a financial contribution in their honor which is designated in his/her name and awarded to a woman at a four-year educational institution in Wisconsin. Scholarships are provided by the TEMPO Foundation, through the generous support of corporate sponsors and individual donors, and TEMPO has awarded more than $240,000 in Scholarships to more than 75 Wisconsin women. The luncheon is already sold out for this year but definitely a wonderful even to keep on your radar for next year!

Mentors are so valuable and we're grateful each and every day for every woman who has gone before us and helped us get to where we are today.
