Enjoy pictures from my trip to Mexico - Baptism, Birthdays and More

This past week you may have noticed my absence on the radio and that's because I was in Mexico visiting my husband Jaime's family. It was an eventful trip for us as we celebrated a friend's wedding, a first communion, a birthday and a baptism. I'm excited to report that I'm officially a godparent for the first time! Jaime's brother and sister-in-law asked us to be godparents for their daughter Angela. We were honored and of course said yes! Although the mass and sacrament are basically the same there were some different traditions I got to experience. For example, the godparents buy the outfit, candle, necklace and other accessories for the child being baptized. It was really cool being able to pick it all out and being the one to dress Angela the day of her baptism. We made such great memories and had a wonderful time visiting with family and friends. The 70 degree and sunny weather certainly didn't hurt either! Check out pictures from my trip below.

These are my personal photos.
