Lake Superior State University in Michigan has released their annual "Banished Words List" which features words that people need to stop saying due to overuse, misuse or uselessness. In a year like 2020 there was no shortage of options as overall 1,450 words and phrases were nominated and I'm guessing it will come as no surprise to you that 250 of those words were related to the coronavirus.
