Watch out for text messages about package deliveries as it could be a scam

There are so many different scams out there it's beginning to get really hard to know what's real and what's a scam. The latest is a text message scam about your package delivery just in time for the holidays! How convenient right? My husband Jaime has actually gotten this message and he's terrible with technology so I'm definitely afraid we're going to accidently have issues! If you've gotten a text from USPS, FedEx or UPS asking you to click a link about your package delivery you're going to want to double-check before clicking that link! According to an article posted at msn.com, The Federal Trade Commission said scammers are sending these text messages with fake information, including shipment tracking codes and links to update your delivery preferences, and when you click these "real-looking" links, they get access to your personal information. Some are so real seeming that they even take you to a fake Amazon page! If you get one of these messages whatever you do don't click it! There's more info on what to watch out for and what you should do if you get one of these messages at msn.com so click here!
