Social media can be such a dreadful thing in our lives, especially around election season if you ask me, but then when an amazing story gets shared you're reminded just how incredible it is to be able to spread good news so easily. Take the below story as shared by Courtney Thomas on Facebook. Her child is battling cancer so she put this sign in her yard so kids wouldn't come up to the door and be disappointed when the family didn't answer. Instead there were nothing but tears of joy when they realized kids had been leaving candy for their child who obviously couldn't go out and trick-or-treat. The whole reason I created my Make It Through Monday moment was to share feel good stories just like this one and I appreciate all the people in this world who continue to create such beautiful moments for all to enjoy and share.
