Toy Boat washes onto Wisconsin's shore 27 years after launch in Minnesota

I literally got goose bumps while reading this story for my Make It Through Monday moment. It's about a toy boat that was launched in Minnesota and showed up on a Wisconsin shoreline 27 years later. According to an article posted by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Mike and Lynn BeBeau were walking along the shoreline of Lake Superior in their Wisconsin lakeside hometown and found a wooden toy boat and although its paint was peeling and faded, the couple was able to still read the deliberate instructions on the bottom which stated "I am traveling to the Ocean. Please put me back in the water. Will you send information on your whereabouts to Lakewood School Room 116 & 118, 5207 N. Tischer, Duluth, MN 53304."

Mike and Lynn followed the instructions but not before staging a little photo shoot and posting about the story on social media. Sure enough it caught the attention of hundreds of people and even got back to Bonnie Fritch and Brenda Schell who were the original people to launch the little boat as part of a class field trip in Duluth, Minnesota back in the 1993-1994 school year. Such an amazing story and you can read more on the little boat's journey at jsonline.com.
