Americans will pay HOW MUCH for one stress free day?

It's no secret that people are quite a bit more stressed out right now whether it's because of losing their job, a struggling business, virtual vs in person learning, the election, being afraid of COVID-19, etc. We lived stressful lives before all this was going down and now it's even worse so it's really taking a toll on people. I was a bit surprised by a study that found one third of Americans would spend over $500 to have just one day of zero stress. The amount of money didn't surprise me, it's the fact that people don't even have one stress free day right now. That seems a bit out there to me. The survey of 2,000 Americans revealed the following:

  • Three in five feel constantly on edge given the pandemic.
  • One in five admitted they feel drained most days while 13% are in a constant state of exhaustion.
  • Almost two-thirds said they've been prioritizing other people over themselves to a potentially unhealthy degree.
  • 59% are struggling with self-care amidst the pandemic in spite of spending so much additional time at home.

The survey was conducted by OnePoll on behalf of iHerb and you can read more at SWNSDigital.com. Just remember although it's harder right now, self-care is so important. You cannot serve others as much if you're not taking care of yourself first!
