This restaurant is getting rid of its slogan due to COVID-19 Pandemic

KFC has decided to suspend use of their 'finger lickin' good' slogan in advertising due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. According to USA Today, they've used the popular slogan for 64 years but as COVID has drastically affected businesses and people's lives they said using the slogan "doesn't feel quite right." Catherine Tan-Gillespie, global chief marketing officer at KFC, assured people even though the slogan is changing, the food so many people crave and enjoy isn't going to change one bit. I completely understand why they've decided to suspend the slogan but honestly I wouldn't have thought anything of it. Although it's been years since I ate at KFC or even thought of that slogan so maybe I'm not the best person to provide an opinion on this. What are your thoughts? Do you think it was a good PR move on their part?
