The MKE Community Fridge is officially up and running

As you can imagine funds many be tight for many people right now due to all the issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It's hard to see all the bad that's happening right but but it makes all the good happening that much better. Take the MKE Community Fridge for example which I'm sharing for my Make It Through Monday moment today. How amazing that someone or a group of people decided that a community fridge project was just what people needed. If you're not familiar with the concept basically its a refrigerator that is located outside and if you're in need of food you can just take what's in there for free! After much hard work and support from the community, as of this past Saturday, August 15 the MKE Community Fridge if officially up and running! It's located in front of Tandem at 1848 W Fond Du Lac Ave. If you're interested in donating cash they have Venmo: MkeCommunityFridge and Cashapp: $MkeCommunityFridge. If you have extra produce from your garden you can also donate those items as well. If you plan to donate click here to read some VIP information first though. Visit MKE Community Fridge on Facebook or Instagram for more info.
