They say in order to properly wash your hands, you should spend at least 20 seconds washing them which is the same length as signing "Happy Birthday" twice. My guess is many people are not spending that much time washing their hands and it's a little funny that it took an outbreak of the coronavirus to get people to really focus on this! News flash, you should always be washing your hands this thoroughly! If you're sick of singing Happy Birthday like Jen Monnier is, then go ahead and use one of the songs she shared on Twitter as they all have a 20-second chorus!

Of course people chimed in on the thread offering more song options. I personally like the Bee Gees "Stayin' Alive" suggestion as apparently it also doubles as the cadence for doing CPR!
