When I saw the headline "Human brain shipped to Kenosha seized at Canadian border" at msn.com I did a double take. Did I read that correctly? Sure enough I did because according to the article, Customs and Border Protection agents found a human brain in a Canadian mail truck on February 14 during a random inspection. The brain was shipped from Toronto to Kenosha, WI but only made it as far as Port Huron, Michigan. Of course the brain is now with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention under investigation so they can confirm it's not a biohazard. It was shipped in a mason jar and wrapped in bubble wrap. If you don't believe me read the article at msn.com. Obviously you can't just go around mailing brains without proper paperwork and a permit but honestly I can't think of any situation where someone would need to mail a brain!
