I'm proud and so excited for our very own Milwaukee County Transit System! They won the 2019 American Public Transportation Innovation Award for their MCTS Excellence program which recognizes the big and small acts of kindness done by its employees. MCTS uses surveillance videos that show these acts of kindness done by their employees like assisting a visually impaired rider cross the street, helping to find lost children, assisting the victim of a car accident and so much more! The program has been in place since 2016 and is now receiving national recognition by CNN, TIME Magazine and one employee was even asked to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show!
