I'm the first to admit I'm not great with change. My life revolves around routine and organization and when a change comes a long it totally throws me off! I'm also a perfectionist and can't stand making mistakes so when I do, I have a hard time letting go and getting over it. This quote for my Make It Through Monday moment powered by Winkies in Whitefish Bay couldn't be more true or come at a more perfect time.
This quote really stood out to me. Fall is one of my favorite seasons but there's always the thought in the back of my mind that Fall means Winter is coming and I feel like that takes away from enjoying it a little bit. Trees changing colors and losing their leaves is such a natural way of life and is actually a positive thing as that's the way the world works! Trees show us that change and the ability to let things go can actually be a good thing for us. The next time I'm struggling with change in my life or letting something go I'm going to try to remember this quote.
