Make It Through Monday - TRY

It's usually 50/50 whether you're going to get a great message from a fortune cookie or not so I was pleasantly surprise when last week I cracked one open to receive the following message: "The best angle from which to approach any problem is the TRYangle."

How clever and how true!  We've gotten into a habit where we want things to come easily without having to put in tons of work but that just isn't realistic.  I honestly feel the more hard work you put into something the better, more accomplished you feel once you've completed it.  Many times we're stuck in a place where we just don't know what to do next.  We don't know how to fix a problem.  We don't know how to properly communicate what we're feeling.  We can't figure out the next step to keep us moving forward and so on.  I could probably be here all day listing our issues, problems and fears but why not put all that aside and think about a one word solution: TRY.  I know this is MUCH easier said than done but we'll never know until we try.  So if you're stuck in a rut and don't know how to get out the best place to start is to at least try.

In case you're wondering this fortune cookie came from the restaurant Singha Thai.  It's one of my favorite Thai restaurants located in West Allis right on 108th street.  I usually order #80 Crispy Basket with Chicken.  I've also had #162 Racha Chicken which is really good too!  A must have to get started though is #1 Egg Roll Thai!  They are sooo good and the sauce is amazing.  Now I'm starving and have to TRY to not think about food.  Don't forget to "Make It Through Monday" by TRYING!
