Happy Hour with Hannah

We are so lucky to be enjoying this Kenwood Cabernet from Sonoma County, California today on Happy Hour with Hannah and Otto's Wine & Spirits!  The moment I opened this bottle I knew I was in for a real treat.  The smell was incredible.  This is a Cabernet with loads of enticing aromas of black raspberry and currants.  It's full-bodied with loads of black fruits and notes of herbs and pepper on the finish.

What I thought was really cool though was how it's made.  Always known for producing a well-balanced style of Cabernet, the winery workers spend an extraordinarily large amount of time and hard work making this wine. Each vineyard lot is kept separate from harvest through the fermentation and into the aging process to preserve the unique flavors of the individual vineyards. When it's time to make the wine, the winemaker starts tasting the small lots and blending them perfectly to achieve the right balance.  All that hard work sure paid off because Decanter magazine, which is known for their true and unbiased reviews on wines, gave the Kenwood Cabernet its wonderful 91-Point score.  You'll be very happy to know that you can get this very high quality of wine for a great price too!  It will be easy to grab this Kenwood Cabernet from Sonoma County, CA because Otto's Wine & Spirits has so many locations!
