Packers' A.J. Dillon tests COVID-19 positive; could impact Thursday's game

The Green Bay Packers lost a key division game to the Minnesota Vikings yesterday, 28-22 (and it wasn't that close). They fell to 5-2 and have a quick turnaround scheduled, as they're supposed to face the San Francisco 49ers - a team that's had their number lately - on Thursday Night Football.

That was bad enough - but now, Packers' running back A.J. Dillon has just tested positive for COVID-19, according to numerous reports.

Dillon is definitely out now for Thursday's game, but contact tracing that is underway could reveal "high risk" close contacts to him that could cause more players to be held out for five days. That timing means the Packers could have significant enough roster issues to jeopardize whether Thursday's game even takes place.

We hope Dillon battles and rids himself of the virus successfully and no others have been infected. We'll keep you updated!
