Die Hard is a movie from 1988 starring Bruce Willis, that launched quite a few sequels. Die Hard is also a battery, famous for being available at Sears and now at Advanced Auto Parts. It took until 2020, and it's not even a Super Bowl commercial, but they've now come out with a commercial that seems like it took as much planning as a full movie to create: an adventure featuring Bruce Willis and a Die Hard car battery.
In this two-minute commercial featuring Bruce as Dave McClane going to find a new battery to replace the one that died in his car, they throw back to scenes from the original Die Hard (like Bruce crawling through ductwork) and even a character... Argyle the limo driver is back.
