Even with the effects of COVID-related lockdowns, Wisconsin's craft beverage scene is booming, especially in areas around La Crosse, Stevens Point (which has a whole craft collective built around it), and in the Mascoutin Valley, west of Oshkosh - these are the areas we focus on in this weekend's episode of Discover Wisconsin.
In La Crosse, I got to visit Pearl Street Brewery as well as Turtle Stack Brewery. The Stevens Point area, including Plover and Amherst, offers Great Northern Distilling, O'So Brewing Company, Central Waters Brewing, and the classic Point Brewery. The Mascoutin Valley area, which covers Ripon, Omro, and environs, includes trips I made to Rushford Meadery & Winery, Knuth Brewing, and Vines & Rushes Winery.
