You can buy annual state park passes online now, here's where to do it!

With the partial reopening of our Wisconsin State Parks, the greenery in our state filling out and the weather gradually getting warmer and nicer, the temptation to go enjoy these parks - especially in light of all the limitations we've had to deal with during this pandemic - is probably stronger than ever!

The bad news is, with the parks only having a partial reopening, restroom facilities are closed, there are no events, and some special areas like observation towers may still be roped off. Also, you can't buy daily passes until offices are re-staffed so for now you're required to have an Annual Pass for the Wisconsin State Park System.

Here's the good news: while before you could only mail in a request for one or pay for one via phone, now you can buy an annual pass for the state parks online AND get an e-mail receipt right away that serves as your pass until the official one arrives in the mail.

Buy your Wisconsin State Parks Annual Pass here, it's $28 just like if you bought one at their offices. For seniors (age 65+) it's $13; for Wisconsin non-residents, it's $38 (that gets judged by the state of your license plate.) The passes are good through December 31, 2020.

Hit up the state parks - safely - and have some fun!
