See what Dodgeville will have to store for you, on Discover Wisconsin!

A lot of people drive past Dodgeville on the way to Dubuque or Prairie du Chien, but when's the last time you went in and explored the town? This lovely, historic seat of Iowa County has about 5,000 residents and not only offers a wealth of fun outdoor activities, but fun and friendly places to go right in town.

In this Discover Wisconsin episode, Mariah and I explore the area. Mariah checks out Folklore Village and dances with Swedes while learning a new instrument. She also explores nearby Governor Dodge State Park, the Military Ridge Trail, and more. I got to use a wood-burning pen for the first time (yes, the TV crew trusted me with a pen that heated itself to 1,000 degrees!) and carved myself a nice little somethin-somethin at Walnut Hollow, which has an amazing array of crafts and wood-based art. I also got to treat my taste buds at Bob's Bitchin' BBQ, where a local resident starting selling succulent sauces and has expanded his business to include some amazing smoked meats, including brisket, sausages, burnt ends and more - with some tasty sides, too.

That's just part of the show - click below to see the whole thing, whenever you want! And of course, you can watch it on FOX Sports Wisconsin Saturday mornings at 10, in Madison on WKOW-TV Channel 27 at 6:30pm Saturdays, and FOX 6 in Milwaukee on Sundays at 10am. And on Roku, Amazon Fire, Google Play, Apple TV, YouTube, broadcast stations across eight states... you know, you have options. And thanks for watching and listening!
