Eddie Murphy rocked SNL Saturday night - let's watch some highlights!

Back I reported that Eddie Murphy was going to host Saturday Night Live on December 21st, we were all excited. Since it's 2019 and time is flying, it's already come and gone as a live show but we have YouTube and online video now - we obviously didn't last time Eddie was on SNL in 1984 - and can enjoy them again and again!

From Bill Cosby impressions and some amazing "surprise guests" in the monologue, it just kept rocking. He played a number of his famous characters in sketches from Buckwheat and Gumby to Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood. The one thing he didn't do again: the James Brown Celebrity Hot Tub Party. And you know, maybe that's a good thing after all these years. I took the liberty of snagging some clips for you to enjoy in case you missed it Saturday night (I was with friends drunk caroling, to be honest) and if you saw, now you can enjoy it again!

Let's start with the monologue:

I was hoping for a Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood sketch... and we got one!

Gumby made a comeback during Weekend Update and had Colin Jost and Michael Che cracking up...

Even a touching (sort of) "home for the holidays" sketch:

Plus appearances as Buckwheat and more, including Colin Jost and Michael Che exchanging some savage "Christmas Swap" jokes on Weekend Update and the sixth Democratic debate. It's on the full episode on NBC.com HERE!
