Wisconsin's Fork in the Road: We're heading to Tomah on Discover Wisconsin

As you travel around Wisconsin, chances are you'll happen upon Tomah. It's where the railroads historically split, where U.S. 12 & 16 split before the Interstates, and where I-90/94 split for trip to La Crosse or the Twin Cities. Tomah itself has always been a place for hospitality, since a lot of lodging places sprung up there as travelers headed all over the place. It's now also a logistics and distribution center, perched on the edge of Wisconsin's gorgeous Driftless Area, the colorful bogs of Cranberry Country, and Fort McCoy, which means "Tank Crossing" signs can be seen along Highways 16 and 21 west of town. Tomah itself is reviving its downtown, adding more events, diversifying its restaurants, and becoming more of a place to set down for a longer than just an overnight to explore the town and its surroundings.

In this episode of Discover Wisconsin, Mariah and I check out what's happening in the city, we get bogged down in cranberries, explore pathways and lakes, imbibe in great BBQ, and hit both a sausage and cheese festival and one of the largest truck and tractor pull events in North America, one large enough to draw people from all over - we even talked with a few visitors from overseas!

You can watch Saturday morning at 10am on FOX Sports Wisconsin, on your local channels (that includes WKOW Channel 27 in Madison Saturday night at 6:30 and FOX6 in Milwaukee 10am Sunday), on Roku, Amazon Fire, Google Play, or Apple TV, or heck - right below on YouTube whenever you want!
