Elton John's dedication to Ric Ocasek & Eddie Money during his SF concert

Elton Hercules John (Reginald Dwight is his given name, in case you didn't know) is in the midst of his final tour, which covers the world and is lasting a very long time - just like his legendary career. In fact, he'll play in Wisconsin October 19th, when he performs at Fiserv Forum.

Times change during long tours, and this past week when Elton was performing at the Chase Center in San Francisco, he took notes of two musicians who had just passed away: Eddie Money last Friday night, and Ric Ocasek of The Cars Sunday night.

In this dedication, he says The Cars are "one of the best bands that came out of America" and salutes both Ocasek and Money by playing - and dedicating - one of his biggest hits from the 1970s. Which song was it? You'll have to watch! He begins with it about 6 minutes in.
