The "Very Brady Renovation" is on HGTV and Barry Williams was on my podcast

When the legendary TV show "The Brady Bunch" premiered in 1969, they chose to use a house at 11222 Dilling Street in North Hollywood, an area of Los Angeles. We saw the exterior of that house a million times watching the show through the years, and we all pretty much agreed on one thing: the way the interior looks on the show, there's no way it matches the home's exterior! The entrance, the way the home was oriented... it just didn't seem to work.

Well, fifty years after the show began (and 45 years after it ended) the actual house is getting a renovation that will make its interior match how it looked on the show. The surviving Brady Bunch cast members (basically, all six kids from the show) have reunited to do some of the work along with construction contractors. The process and results have been documented on a new HGTV show called "A Very Brady Renovation." It just premiered, and you can see the renovations here in the video below:

Barry Williams, who of course played Greg Brady on the show, talked with me earlier this year as he was preparing to show up at Madison's Wizard World event. During that conversation, we discussed the upcoming HGTV show. Hear about that and more in this EricCast podcast:
