With the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing celebrated over the weekend, all kinds of things that Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins do and have been up to have been noted and celebrated. But fans of music - and science - particularly enjoyed that time when Buzz Aldrin went up on stage to help perform the 1982 hit "She Blinded Me With Science" with the song's writer and singer, Thomas Dolby.
Dolby's memorable song about a mad scientist who falls for his lab assistant features the occasional yelling of the word "science!" throughout. Those were done by Magnus Pyke, a famous TV show host for a children's educational show in England, whose trademark was yelling "science!" throughout his show. These are the main parts Aldrin mimicked, much to the delight of the audience treated to this performance back in 2013. Watch it here!
